Webinar
Date: 25 SEPTEMBER 2025
Organisers: Social Protection Technical Assistance, Advice, and Resources Facility, STAAR
This webinar discussed how Technical Assistance can strengthen gender-responsive and inclusive social protection. It highlighted the importance of a flexible Technical Assistance Facility and the different ways in which technical assistance can be provided to strengthen gender-responsive and inclusive social protection systems.
The webinar included insights on both the process of delivering technical assistance, as well as the technical aspects of gender-responsive and inclusive social protection. It explored real-life examples of working in a challenging political and financial environment and provided practical tools for how to overcome these challenges to advance better outcomes for women, girls and diverse populations through social protection. The webinar was presented by a range of actors who have been involved in delivering or receiving STAAR’s technical assistance.
This was the first session of the webinar series Empowering Change: Gender-responsive and Inclusive Social Protection Approaches for All, organised by the Social Protection Technical Assistance, Advice, and Resources Facility (STAAR), which will explore how, why, and where to implement gender-responsive and inclusive social protection systems, drawing on global evidence, emerging research and lessons learned.
