The 2023-25 Irish Aid/ILO Partnership Regional Programme on “Accelerating the Achievement of Universal Social Protection to Leave No-one Behind” aims to expand social protection systems in Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, and Vietnam. It serves as a hub for learning, coordination and sharing experiences and practices across regions and the Global South. The partnership goal is to speed up the implementation of universal social protection through broadening social protection reach, promoting sustainable financing and national dialogues aimed at addressing the gaps in social protection coverage through shaping policies and strategies.
The webinar series aims to foster dialogue and knowledge exchange between participating countries, focusing on the implementation at national and local levels of global social protection policies, strengthening research and capacity building, and ensuring inclusive social protection. Each webinar will have a panel of discussants for each topic who will be drawn from different Ministries, UN agencies, Civil Society Organisations, and academic institutions.
