UNICEF LACRO and especially the organisation’s social policy unit have been gathering regional evidence that may serve to strengthen national social protection systems focused on children. This webinar presented a comparative study analysing maternity, paternity and parental leave regulations, as well as policies in support of breastfeeding in 24 countries in Latin America and the CaribbeanThe analysis assessed these policies considering international norms and best practices. The webinar’s objective was to present the study’s main findings and relevant regional experiences regarding both parental leave and best practices at the workplace.
