This webinar presented the Uruguayan experience in carrying out the family follow-up activities laid out in the Uruguay Crece Contigo (Uruguay Grows with YouUCC) programmeOver the course of 10 months, teams comprised of public health and social workers visit homes to engage families in periodic socioeducational activities. The programme aims to support the adoption of good upbringing practices, the creation of linkages between families and the State’s social assistance and health services, the strengthening of the provision of contraceptives and the improvement of access to State programme benefits.
