Despite continued momentum, knowledge gaps in the global South and uneven access to solutions, expertise and resources remain major hindrances for optimising the contribution of South-South and triangular cooperation towards the SDGs. In this context, digital transformation provides several powerful tools to bridge that gap, and digital platforms are offering transformational opportunities for development cooperation in the global South.

The webinar discussed the importance of digital platforms for strengthening South-South knowledge sharing and collaboration among stakeholders in the South, as well as increasing cohesion among UN agencies and their work. During the session, South-South Galaxy and socialprotection.org were presented.
