The webinar presented an overview of the Jeevika programme in the Indian state of Bihar. Jeevika is one of the world’s largest programmes for strengthening rural financial inclusion and livelihoods and operates as part of India’s National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). This webinar presented implementation perspectives on how the programme has leveraged communities, building on livelihood and financial inclusion platforms. Recent efforts to expand towards more vulnerable population groups under the Satat Jeevikoparjan Yojana programme were also discussed.
